Hilti recently introduced the HLC Hex Bolt Sleeve Anchor to their wide range of anchor product offerings. A new generation in sleeve anchoring, the HLC Hex Bolt offers a new twist on an old technology - once again making Hilti an innovator in product design and development.
This new and improved product is ideal for anchoring into brick, hollow and solid block, concrete and masonry, and will replace the current Hilti Sleeve Anchor System.
The HLC is a perfect solution for a wide range of applications such as fastening railings, stairs, light fixtures, computer and telecom equipment, just to name a few!
The Hilti HLC Sleeve Anchor is made of high quality carbon steel, is UL-listed and meets the description in the Federal Specification FF-S-325, Group II, Type 3, Class 3.
"The innovative midriff design of the HLC line is quite ingenious," comments Philipp Meyer, Mechanical Anchor Product Manager. The bulged sleeve has round and diamond-shaped openings. This helps prevents the anchor from spinning in the hole, or dropping out of the hole in overhead applications.

In addition, the unique bolt head lacks the usual nut-design which allows for a flush finish of the new sleeve anchor. This makes the HLC the user's choice in applications where aesthetics are a consideration.
The removable HLC greatly improves jobsite safety due to the reduction of trip hazards caused by anchor studs sticking out of the ground. It also features a design that allows the anchor to pull down and bridge gaps and spaces between the fixture and the base material - making the holding value of the HLC greater than most competitive products on the market. The HLC is available in sizes ranging from 5/16" to 1/2".
The HLC is the first of six different head styles which will be introduced by Hilti in Spring 2000.
The HLC is developed, manufactured and distributed by Hilti - providing continuous quality control from start to finish. Hilti HLC Sleeve Anchor - the clear choice for all of your anchoring needs!
